Musa Ansari, JABA’s Manager of Advocacy Services oversees JABA’s advocacy programs and services which include Information and Assistance services, Long Term Care and Volunteer Ombudsman services, Health Insurance Counseling programs and services, Care Coordination for Elderly Virginians and Case Management services. Musa and the advocacy staff take every opportunity to ensure that elderly residents can age in the residence of their choice, maintain their dignity, personal independence and quality of life. These advocacy service objectives are consistent with those carried out by Musa during 30 plus years of public service as teacher, public administrator, community-based services organizer and attorney. Musa, a resident of Buckingham County, came to JABA after serving as the Regional Human Rights Advocate in Northern Virginia.
