As JABA's Long-Term Care Ombudsman, Sue Drumm is a state-certified advocate for residents of nursing homes and assisted living facilities and people who receive community-based services at home. Along with the Volunteer Ombudsman Specialist and Volunteer Ombudsmen, Sue provides information and assistance to help resolve care problems and issues of residents' rights.. Additionally, she provides education on long-term care issues to residents and their families, and nursing home and assisted living facility staff, and runs JABA's annual Legislative Forum. Sue has a law degree from the University of Virginia. Prior to joining JABA, her primary practice was at the Charlottesville Area Legal Aid Society (now Legal Aid Justice Center).
