As Development Specialist, Denise is directly responsible for the database management of all past, active and prospective donors of JABA, JABA Inc., JEC, and The Hovey Dabney Foundation, ensuring that all information is up-to-date and accurate. Daily tasks include ensuring that all donors receive written acknowledgement of their gifts, producing donor appeal mailing lists (and other special mailings), processing web-based donations, creating donor and financial reports, deposits, making absolutely sure all records are accurate, meeting audit requirements as well as orientation, training and supervision of volunteers. Occasional responsibilities include fundraising and donor recognition special events.
