Handicapped Accessible housing Options

For those who need handicapped-accessible housing, there are a number of local options. All three of JABA's Independent Living communities for seniors are handicapped accessible, and we strive to provide the most comfortable possible accomodations for all people. Arbor Crest
Arbor Crest is located off Hydraulic Road, across from Albemarle County High School. There are 66 two-bedroom apartments including 7 handicapped units. Carriage Hill
Carriage Hill apartment homes are located on South Pantops Drive near Pantops Shopping Center in Charlottesville. The one-bedroom apartments on the first floor are handicapped accessible. You may call ( 434) 971-8439 for more information.

Northwood at Four Seasons
Four Seasons apartments are located at 145 Four Seasons Drive, Charlottesville. There are garden and two-bedroom handicapped-accessible apartments. You may call (434) 973-4319 or 973-8180 for more information.

Hearthwood Townhouses
Hearthwood townhouses are located at 211 Michie Drive, #127, Charlottesville. There are a few one-bedroom efficiency apartments for the disabled or handicapped. For more information, you may call (434) 295-2174.

Neighborhood Properties
Spurzem Properties are located on 202 Second Street Northwest, Charlottesville. They offer one, two and three-bedroom apartments and duplexes that are handicapped accessible. For more information, you may call (434) 971-8000.

Jefferson Heights
Located in the Pantops area offers apartment homes for those 62 and older. There are 86 new luxury non-assisted one and two bedroom apartments with 24-hour concierge service. Flexible and optional services such as meals and housekeeping are available.
