Each session is designed to teach caregivers how to navigate the responsibilities of caring for someone living with dementia. Caregivers can attend the individual sessions that meet their needs or attend the entire series. While the sessions are designed for caregivers of people with Alzheimer’s, these sessions are free and open to all types of caregivers.

Gain practical guidance and support for caring for someone with a chronic or life-limiting illness. Join Hospice of the Piedmont's Clinical Education Specialist and Nurse Informaticist Aileen Bartels as she explains how these illnesses change over time, what increasing care needs can look like, and how families can find support along the way. The session will also explore how palliative and hospice care can improve comfort, reduce stress, and enhance quality of life.

Every second Thursday of the month at JABA’s main office in Charlottesville on Hillsdale Drive, 2:00 - 4:00 PM. Free and open to all.
