Each session is designed to teach caregivers how to navigate the responsibilities of caring for someone living with dementia. Caregivers can attend the individual sessions that meet their needs or attend the entire series. While the sessions are designed for caregivers of people with Alzheimer’s, these sessions are free and open to all types of caregivers.

Attending a JABA Caregiver Support Group leaves you feeling less alone and more capable of caring for your loved one. JABA's Caregiver Support Coordinator facilitates short presentations and/or information sessions followed by group discussions.
Every second Thursday of the month at JABA’s main office in Charlottesville on Hillsdale Drive, 2:00 - 4:00 PM. Free and open to all.

Here to Stay Wintergreen offers Caregiver Support Groups on the second Wednesday of every month 10:30 AM-12 PM at the Tuckahoe Center within Stoney Creek. Regular meetings allow caregivers to have useful exchanges of information about local resources, practical advice, and emotional support.
